Our Process

First we will set you up with your one on one consultation with owner & inventor, Ricky Edwards. He will discuss with you your specific wants and needs for the Stair Tamer Cargo Lift. Once your build agreement is in place and has been signed we will get started fabricating your custom built Stair Tamer Cargo Lift. The build generally takes one to two weeks. The installation is a painless process that can be completed in just a few hours. The Stair Tamer Cargo Lift is set on an 8x8 pylon and is easily bolted on to your deck or corner of your home.

Stair Tamer can be installed “almost” anywhere. Taxes and Installation have already been accounted for in the price you receive when you get your quote. This price is only valid within 100 miles of our home office in Shiloh NC. We will gladly install anywhere in the U.S.A. but there will be additional fees for travel and freight depending on location of installation.

Annual Preventative Maintenance

At Stair Tamer Cargo Lifts we believe in our products and they speak for themselves. There’s nothing man-made that doesn’t require a little TLC from time to time. Rest assured that even if you don’t take advantage of our Annual Preventative Maintenance program, help, should you need it is just a phone call away. Customers who take advantage of the Annual Preventative Maintenance Program prolong the life of the mechanical parts of the lift considerably, especially on the outer banks and any coastal area. They have less costly repairs by far and when something does break it’s a much cheaper fix than customers who don’t take advantage of the program. Structurally the Stair Tamer Cargo Lift will last well into our grandchildren’s lifetime if not longer. Our Annual Preventative Maintenance Programs helps ensure the mechanical parts could as well. Our Annual Preventative Maintenance Program is $250 per year. You never pay until the work is done. The service includes a full inspection of the entire lift and all of it’s components, greasing all necessary part, limit switch adjustment (if needed), and labor for some parts replacement is also included with a signed Service Agreement.
