Operation

1. Before Operating the lift, first check to be sure there is nothing blocking the lift's pathway.
2. Load all cargo, making sure nothing is hanging over the edge or through the rails of the Stair Tamer.
3. The lift can now be activated by the remote or by the controls in the remote box.
4. Once the lift has reached it's destination (up or down), it can then be unloaded.

Safety Precautions

1. NEVER stand under the lift.
2. NEVER transport people with the lift.
3. Always stay clear of the lift's pathway while it is in operation.
4. Always make sure all cargo is in the basket and that nothing is hanging over the side of the lift, or through the lift's rails.
5. Do not overload the lift.
6. If necessary, the lift can be stopped at any point along it's path if there are problems.

Warranty

There is a full 1 year warranty on all parts from the date of installation on each Stair Tamer. The warranty does not cover acts of nature (hurricanes, lightning, etc.).
